We are fighting for a public incentive, market-based solution to beverage
container litter. Incentive policies have proven records of reducing litter and
increasing recycling rates. Ten states already have some form of consumer
incentive and 50% less roadway litter (KAB, 2020) and recycling rates as high as 90% (CRI, 2025).
78% of Texas containers never get recycled, too many of them end up as litter.
